Relaxed Performance Consultancy & Training

Natasha Haws offers specialist relaxed performance consultancy and training for theatres and creative teams across the UK. Her approach is grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience — having attended relaxed performances with her younger brother for over 15 years, she brings a clear, informed perspective on what truly supports audiences.

She has worked with organisations including Northern Stage, Shakespeare North, Alphabetti Theatre, and Fuel Theatre, advising on both family and adult programming. Natasha provides tailored wraparound support, helping productions and venues make meaningful access central to their work — not an afterthought.

Her consultancy includes visiting productions during technical rehearsals, dress runs, and previews to observe and write informed relaxed performance guidance. She supports teams by developing accurate content warnings, as well as producing visual stories and sound maps where needed — ensuring that all audiences, particularly neurodivergent and disabled people, are able to make informed choices about their visit.

Natasha believes that relaxed performance is for more than just families — it can be a vital entry point for adults who may not yet feel theatre is for them. Her work invites organisations to think about accessibility not only as a requirement, but as an invitation.
